Who We’re Looking For
You are an ambitious and detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in UK tax law. You have strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
This role is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy, curious, and eager to learn, with the ability to balance technical excellence with a personable, client-friendly approach.
Key Responsibilities
Tax Advisory & Compliance
- Assist in providing UK tax advice across various areas, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, corporation tax, and income tax.
- Research and prepare tax-related documentation, reports, and client presentations.
- Proactively review client portfolios to identify areas for tax efficiencies and improvements.
Client Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a friendly and professional approach.
- Stay updated on tax legislation and industry trends to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Support clients with compliance and regulatory matters.
Business Development
- Collaborate with the team on marketing initiatives to promote services and attract clients.
- Assist with client and prospect engagement, including prospecting, lead qualification, cross-selling, and social media activities.
Specialist Support
- Provide support in additional areas of tax law, such as HMRC enquiries, probate, wills, and trusts
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
- A background in law, accounting, or tax-related fields, or working towards a UK-recognized tax or legal qualification (e.g., ATT, CTA).
- Knowledge of inheritance tax, capital gains tax, corporation tax, and income tax is essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-friendly approach.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tax software is desirable.
Preferred but Not Required
- Experience in client and prospect engagement, such as prospecting, lead qualification, or cross-selling.
- Familiarity with AI tools or technologies to enhance research and service delivery efficiency
